東南アジアの話。 マレーシア・ベトナム編

今日も東南アジアシリーズ。
本日はマレーシア&ベトナムです。
え、二つ？と思われたかもしれませんが、これは単に滞在が短く、お伝え出来ることが少ないから。
マレーシアに関しては、トランジットで訪れただけなので実質5-6時間のみです。
とか言いながら、毎度乗り継ぎの待ち時間で数時間ずついるにはいますね、、、
まずはいつも通り基礎データから。
国名：マレーシア
面積：約33万平方キロメートル（日本の約0.9倍）
人口：3.270万人
首都：クアラルンプール

日本と比べると、面積のわりに人が少ないことがわかりますね。
私が訪れたのは、クアラルンプールからほど近い、プトラジャヤと呼ばれる地域です。
政府機関などが密集している地域で、大きな建物が目立ちますが、経済的に発展している香りはしません。
でも、ピンクのモスクなど景観がきれいな建物も多く、ぜひ一度訪れてみてほしいところの一つです。
プトラジャヤには、空港から都心部へ向かう電車で割とすぐ行くことができますが、駅から若干距離があります。
タクシーで移動することになると思います。ちなみに私は、行きは駅からタクシーでいったものの、帰りのタクシーが一切捕まらず、心優しい老夫婦に駅まで車で送っていただきました。片言のインドネシア語が若干通じたのが良かったのかもしれません。
本当はクアラルンプールの話などもしたいところですが、行ったことないので残念ながら。
またいつか足を運んだ時にお伝えしたいと思います。
それでは、ベトナムに参りましょう。
まずは基礎データから。

面積：32万9241平方キロメートル
人口：約9.726万人
首都：ハノイ
言語：ベトナム語

ベトナムは縦長の国で、北にハノイ、南にホーチミンと大きな都市があります。
僕はホーチミンしか行ったことがないので、今日はホーチミンの話を。
僕がベトナムに行ったのは、大学2年の夏ですね。
カンボジアとタイの話はまた次回。
ベトナムのご飯の話。
ベトナム語専攻の友人曰く、ホーチミンの食事は比較的味がはっきりしているとのこと。
フォーやブンなどの麺も種類が沢山あって全然飽きません。
個人的には、バインミーがすごく好きでした。
ホーチミンの有名なお店で、Pho Quynhというフォーの店がありまして、
そこのPho bo kno と呼ばれるビーフシチューフォーが非常に美味です。
ホーチミンの市内は結構広く、見る所も結構いろいろあります。
ベンタイン市場という広い市場があって、お土産とかは結構そこで見れるかも。
自分が観光したときは、ツアーでメコン川の河口に言ったりもしました。
市内だけではなく、あちこち足を運んでみると良いかと思います。
一度しか行ったことがないとなかなかお伝えすることも少ないですね。

Let’s give it my all today!
Today’s theme is also South East Asia.
I gonna talk about Malaysia and Vietnam today.
You may be surprised that I have two themes today.
That is because I have been there for just a short time.
Actually, I was in Malaysia for just a few hours.
Let’s start with fundamental data.
Name: Malaysia
Land Area: 330,000㎢(0.9 times of Japan)
Population: 32,700,000
Capital: Kuala Lumpur
Language: Maray(National Language), Chinese, Tamil, English

Compared to Japan, Malaysia has much less density of people.
I went to the area called “Putrajaya” near from Kuala Lumpur.
There are lots of governmental palace and not so economically developed.
But there is beautiful Pink Mosque and I recommend you to visit there at once.
Putrajaya is closer than KL from the airport and easily access by train.
But the mosque is a bit far from the station.
I took taxi to there, but I couldn’t catch taxi to the station.
So, a kind old couple helped me and sent me to the station.
I would like to talk about Kuala Lumpur, but I haven’t been there.
I will talk about it someday.
Ok, let’s talk about Vietnam next.
Start from fundamental data.

Population: About 97.260,000
Capital: Hanoi
Language: Vietnamese

Vietnam is long from North to South.
Hanoi is the biggest city in North and Ho Chi Minh is the biggest one in South.
Today, I am going to talk about Ho Chi Minh.
I went to Vietnam when I was second year of University.
Vietnamese food is amazing!
As my friend who studies Vietnam said, food in Ho Chi Minh is much vivid than that of Hanoi.
There are variety of noodles there.
My favorite food there is Bahn Me.
“Pho Quynh” is famous Pho restaurant and Pho bo kho there is delicious.
In the city of Ho Chi Minh, there are many places to see.
There is a big market called Ben Than, and you can find many souveniors.
When I went there, I joined a tour and went to Mecon River.
It would be nice to go out of the city.
It is really good place to go and have good food.
