東南アジアの話。 シンガポール編

本日のテーマはシンガポール。
ここも私の大好きな国。
いつも通り基礎データから参りましょう！
国名：シンガポール共和国 (Republic of Singapore)
面積：約720平方キロメートル（東京23区と同程度）
人口：約569万人
言語：マレー語（国語）、英語、中国語、タミル語

他の国と比べると圧倒的に小さいのがわかりますね。
でも経済規模は東南アジア随一。
世界の貿易を担う超大貿易港かつ東南アジアの金融の中心でございます。
ひょっとすると、東南アジアで最初に言ったのはこの国かもしれません。
家に、マーライオンと一緒に写っている2歳くらいの僕の写真がありました。
記憶にないうちから東南アジアが刷り込まれております、、、
さあこのシンガポール、国土は狭いんですけれども、見どころ満載でございます。
今日もシンガポールの魅力をたくさんお伝えしていきたいと思います～
まずは観光スポット
言わずと知れた名所ですね。がっかりスポットなんて言われることもありますが意外にちゃんとサイズ感あります。
陸から見るのも良いですが、船に乗ってみるとまた良いです。おすすめ。
- マリーナベイサンズ
でっかいホテル。三つのタワーと、上にでかい船が載っています。
屋上にあるプールはシンガポールの中心街が見渡せます。
カジノやショッピングモールもあり、見どころも満載です。
- ナイトサファリ
世界でも珍しい？夜がメインの動物園で、車に乗って移動しながらいろいろな動物を見ることができます。ライオンとかがめっちゃ走ってます。
なかなか日本では見られないものだと思うので、シンガポールに行ったらぜひ。
- ブギス・ストリート
お土産を買うならここ。シンガポールのお土産はたくさん買うと安くなるものばかり。マグネットとか、Tシャツとか、たくさん買って配りましょう。
シンガポールといえばご飯でございます。
おいしいもの沢山ありますよ～
タイではカオマンガイ、何て呼ばれたりもしますが、シンガポールで食べるのが一番。
鶏のだしがしっかり染みたご飯が最高ですね。
そして私の大好きな、ヌードル「ホッケンミー」
海鮮系の具が入った焼きそば的な麺でございます。
でも麺の食感が日本で食べるものとは全然違う。非常に美味ですね。
ラクサやバクテーといったシンガポール料理も非常においしいのに加えて、シンガポールは多民族国家。
様々な民族の料理が楽しめます。
街中には非常にレベルの高い中華もありますし、リトルインディアに行けばおいしいカレー屋さんもあります。
シンガポールでご飯を食べるなら、ホーカーという、屋台とフードコートの間のようなお店がおすすめ。安くてとっても美味しいです。
シンガポールは、街がきれいなことでも有名。治安もいいし、安心して楽しめると思います。
でも他の東南アジアの国に比べると物価は少し高いかも。

Today, I gonna talk about “Singapore”.
Singapore is a big port city locates at the Maracca channel.
I love this country.
Let’s talk about it from fundamental data!
Name: Republic of Singapore.
Land Area: About 720㎢ (Almost the same as Tokyo 23 Ward)
Population: About 5,690,000
Language: Malay (National Language), English, Chinese, Tamil

Singapore is quite a small country compared to other countries in South East Asia.
But Singapore is the biggest country in economic way.
It is a center of finance and a huge trade port.
Maybe, this is the first country I went to in South East Asia.
I found a photo of me (2 years old) with Merlion.
As you may know, my life is always with South East Asia.
Again, Singapore is a small country, but there are lots of places to see.
I would like to introduce the charm point of Singapore a lot.
- Merlion
It might be the most famous place. Someone says that It is a disappointing famous tourist spot, but I like it. I think that the size of it is enough.
Many see it from the land, but I recommend you to see it from the sea.
- Marina Bay Sans
This is a huge hotel. There are three towers and there is a big ship on that.
And there is a pool on the rooftop of it. You can see the whole central city of Singapore.
There is a casino and shopping mall in the hotel.
- Night Safari
It is really a unique zoo, and it is open only at the night. You can see many kinds of animals from a car. You can see lions running.
- Bugis Street
This is the best place for you to get souvenirs. If you buy a lot, you can get it cheaper.
You should buy Magnets or T-shirts a lot and distinguish them.
Another good point of Singapore is Food!!
There are lots of delicious food there.
At first, Singapore Chicken Rice.
It is called “Kao Mang Gay” in Thailand, but it is best in Singapore.
I really love the rice with chicken stock.
And my favorite noodle “Hokkien Mee”.
This is like a Yakisoba with Seafood.
But the taste of noodles itself is different from that in Japan.
There is delicious cuisine like Raksa and Bak kut teh, and there is a variety of ethnic food in Singapore.
You can have good Chinese food, and you can find delicious curry restaurants in Little India.
I recommend you to eat at Hawker. This is the food place between the stall and the food court.
You can have delicious and cheap food there.
Singapore is also famous for its clean city. It is really secure and you can enjoy it well.
But the price is more expensive than other countries in South East Asia.
It is also a charm of Singapore.
